First race weekend on the Khumo

Unbelievable weekend at @circuitdebcncat for the final rounds of @tcrspain.

First race weekend on the Khumo tyre was very different and a big learning curve. Started the weekend with P1 and P2 in the free practice which set us up strong for the race weekend.

Struggled a bit in qualifying pushing a bit too hard on the Khumo and overheating the rears and ended up p8, disappointing for the team as we had the pace to look for the top 3.

We moved forwards in race 1 to p5, and after a look at the data with @jonathanpozo and some tweaks to the car, we were confident for race 2 starting p3.

We had a good start moving into the lead by t1 and led from there to finish P1 also getting the fastest cupra racing lap of the weekend and 2nd fastest lap overall.

The car was faultless, the team was amazing and the guys on my car (@ericromi97 & @hugo_rc16) worked tirelessly.

@jonathanpozo my engineer was excellent and nothing was too much to ask of him to improve the balance of the car to my driving style and really help me learn the khumo and improve.

Big thanks also to @dsj.oeme for letting us come and join the team this weekend and providing us with an awesome car to take a win on debut.
